The day by day enhancement in the technology proved our talented scientist and engineer’s imagination power and their hard work for make human life easy and prognostic products those are environment friendly too. Ecocapsule appears to be the result of special factors and one of the enhancements in the series of engineering work to make people life batter and prognostic. A team of ‘Nice Architects’ applying their unbeatable skills and imaginations power to make investors and consumers re-think what can be a home.

To be sure, a newer wave of environment-minded “green” architect has been thinking beyond traditional concepts toward showcased structures as “living solutions.”
‘Ecocapsule Dwelling with the spirit of freedom’ is the work of a group called Nice Architects, a studio based in Bratislava, Slovakia. This team of Nice Architects worked out a concept of housing that is completely changed from the traditional structure of houses. Ecocapsule is a concept of tiny home which is designed under the concerns as energy-efficient.
This compact Ecocapsule tiny home fits all the home necessities within an egg-shaped space dimensions are as follows;
- The length of ecocapsule tiny home is 4.5 meters (14.6 feet),
- The width of ecocapsule tiny home is 2.4 meters (7.9 feet) in width, and
- The height of ecocapsule tiny home is 2.5 meters (8.2 feet).

The total usable floor space is eight square meters (86 square feet). Despite its small footprint, the designers say this micro-shelter can comfortably fit two adults. This tiny portable home ecocapsule have all necessities facilities required for a normal home includes a folding bed, two large operable windows, a working/dining area, shower and flushable toilet, storage space, and a built-in kitchenette with running water.
Adam Williams in Gizmag talked about energy sources attracted with this portable tiny home ecocapsule on Thursday: “The big draw with this micro-home is the impressive sustainable technology that it promises. Packing a 2.6 sq m (28 sq ft) array of high efficiency solar cells (600 output) power on the roof, and a high capacity integrated battery system (9,744Wh capacity), Ecocapsule also sports a silent 750 W wind turbine that’s set on a retractable pole. The dual-power system ensures the shelter will stay operable even during times of low solar or wind activity. The rounded shell is optimized for rainwater collection and filtration system offers clean drinking water. Each Ecocapsule weighs 1,500 kilograms and can fit inside a standard shipping container.”

The interior design of this Ecocapsule portable tiny home as per to the site pictures looks very attractive and inviting. It merges an energy efficient shape, compact volume and off-grid capabilities with the luxuries of a warm folding bed, living/working space, an entrance, kitchenette, toilet and shower (with all time running water and a hot meal), all part of the deal. It is described as adequate enough for two adults.
This Ecocapsule is a portable tiny house with an “immense off-grid life span,” they said. Ecocapsule was designed as a living space that, in addition to a home, might even serve as an independent research station, tourist room unit, or emergency housing unit as well.

The designers of Ecocapsule claim that it “is fitted with all essentials necessary for a comfortable prolonged stay without a need to recharge or re-supply.” It has all the comforts of home: a tiny kitchen, a bathroom with toilet and shower (Gizmag says it’s a composting toilet, but the Ecocapsule site says flushing toilet. A composter makes more sense) There is a folding bed and lots of storage, all in a 4.468m (14′-7″) by 2.407m (8′) egg-shaped structure with an area of 8m2 (86 SF).
Some of the highlighting functionality about the ‘Ecocapsule portable tiny home’ are as follows;
- It offers a long off-grid stay
- It brings civilization’s standards into the wilderness
- It has an energy sustainable shape
- It has low energy consumption
- It is easily transportable around the globe
- It does not require any supporting infrastructure
Currently, only renderings and diagrams of the Ecocapsule protable tiny home are available; however, Nice Architects plans to unveil a prototype at the Pioneers festival in Vienna on May 28. A seven year project in the making, the Ecocapsule is expected to be available for sale later this year, with the first produced units delivered in the first half of 2016.
