This is a very common question by all new bloggers that how Google Bot or search engine see my site. This was difficult to say for a new blogger but now with the help of Google Webmaster Tool anybody can check how Google bot or Google search engine see your website. Now you are thinking about with the help of Google Webmaster tool, I will check the code structure or the screen shot of my website? And the answer is both, You can check out the page code as well as screenshot of particular page. I think now you are getting excited to see that Yeah ?
I am telling you this Step by Step because this may be helpful for the beginner:
Copy the Url of the page that you want to see how Google bot is looking . But you have to just copy the Url after your site name. For example my domain name / site name is http://er.yuvayana.org/ and I want to check the url http://er.yuvayana.org/physics-timeline/. So I have to copy only “physics-timeline/” .
Goto the Google Webmaster Tool: In the Google webmaster tool’s left side menu you will see an option “Crawl”. Just click on Crawl option and it will expand to some sub-options. Like Crawl Error, Crawl Status, Fetch as Google, Robots.txt tester etc. You have to click on the Fetch as Google.
Click on images for larger view
Now paste your copied url into the box given above the page and click on Fetch and Render. Just wait for few moments because Google is fetching your content.
If you are doing this first time then you will see a new entry in the “Click a row to view the details of a fetch attempt”. Now Click on the Url that you fetched.
Just check out the coding of your page in the fetching option and the screenshot by the Google in the render option.
Hope this tutorial will be helpful for you.
