Present – Professor & Dean /Principal of School of Applied & Life Sciences , Dean( research & Studies) , in Uttaranchal University, Dehradun.
- Experience– ( Total +21 years) About 17 years teaching & 4.5 years Industrial R&D (Thapar R&D) experience.
- Administrative Exp.– Worked as Centre Superintendent(UIT). Framing of Ordinances, conduction of BOS, Syllabus and evaluation scheme designed for UG/PG prohrammes of chemistry, food tech, biotech, petroleum engineering, Agriculture and other applied sciences.. Member of RDC. Establishment of new courses in Applied Sciences.
- Books & Chapters- 2 books published (One book on Engineering Chemistry published by CBS Publishers ,New Delhi( ISBN-978-81-239-2287-4) and second on Total Quality Management(TQM) and 3 book chapters published in the books of Phytochemistry , Medicinal Chemistry & Biodiversity conservation and Environmental Management.
- Research Papers– 91 research publications in reputed indexed International journals.
- Patents- 2 Patents published and one filed
- Seminars & workshop– Paper presented in the 52 Seminars & Workshops.
- Research Guidance– 7 Ph.D Research Scholars guided and 4 other being guided. More than 60 Post graduate students guided.
- Worked in two research projects of DST & MNRE ,New Delhi. One project sponsored by DST-( Indo- Russian) on “ Waste water treatment using selected algae and Biofuel “ and “Green Campus” project sponsored by MNRE-New Delhi respectively.
- Seminars and Workshop organized- 7 National and International conferences, 17 seminars and workshop and 5 FDP organized as convenor.
