Dr. Shilpi Bhattacharya
Dr. Shilpi Bhattacharya is an esteemed Professor and Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Kalinga University. With a rich educational background, including a Ph.D. in English, M.Phil in English, and M.A. in English, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Boasting over 22 years of experience in Academics, Administration, and Research, Dr. Bhattacharya has held various key positions such as Dean, Head of the Department, core committee member of IQAC, chairperson BOS, and Chairperson Board of Examination.
Her areas of specialization encompass Gender Studies and American Literature, reflecting her deep commitment to exploring diverse aspects of literature and culture. Dr. Bhattacharya is not only a proficient academic but also an active contributor to research and scholarly activities. She serves as the editor and reviewer of numerous peer-reviewed research journals of both national and international repute.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Dr. Bhattacharya was honored with the Research Excellence Award in 2020.
